The Arte Pura glazed stoneware collection….
Any material can excite because it holds within its essence a secret to be told. It whispers a tale of intrinsic beauty that exists but few can read.
The Arte Pura glazed stoneware collection brings out that beauty through a playful dialog of materials that reflect the work of Refin and Daniela Dallavalle: clays and fabric fibers.
In this extensive creative project, the abstract and naive work of Daniela Dallavalle combines with her lace and macramé mosaics and the immobile mobility of her linen pictures.
“Trame” [“Weaves”] – A symbolic homage to the meaning of “existence” for Daniela Dallavalle: threads of linen are finely laced amongst themselves creating a delicate fabric harmony of warp and weft.
“Rilievi” [“Reliefs”] – In a materic canvas the chalk embraces macramè braids and artisanal embroideries, creating an unexpected design.
“Grafismi” [“Graphic Designs”] – Thin lines of ink, inspired by the artistic work of Daniela Dallavalle, fill walls with a mysterious intimate language, suggesting urban atmospheres.
The line includes four vintage variations, inspired by natural colors:
“Bianco” [“White”] – like the tone achieved by bleaching fabrics with salt
“Baltico” [“Baltic”] – color photograph of the captivating summer nights of Northern Europe
“Pietra” [“Stone”] – warm gray marble nuance suggested by the beauty of Italian architectural heritage
“Luna” [“Moon”] – gold materic work inspired by the perfect imperfections of the lunar surface
